I recently visited Ruby violet - Kings Cross to purchase an ice cream cake for my daughter, and the service I received was outstanding. The manager took the her time to patiently explain all my options and ensured the cake was carefully packed so I could travel with it without it melting. Her assistant was equally helpful and served with a warm smile.
Thank you for helping make my daughter’s special day even more memorable. The cake was absolutely delicious — We will definitely be stopping by again soon for a scoop of ice cream!!!
The delivery by the courier was delayed but the Ruby Violet team were amazing helping me track the cake and get the issue resolved. The toppings for the birthday package were great, just a note, it would be great if the chocolate sauce could have an option you don't need to add cream to and warm up on the stove. We had a pool party with no appliances so couldn't use it on the day. The cake was devoured though and everyone enjoyed it!
The first flavour I look for when in an Italian gelateria - almost always unsuccessfully - so delighted to find it at Ruby Violet. Superb flavour. Hint: try combining with equally delicious British Blackcurrant.
This is a wonderful package. The flavours are SO delicious. Absolutely recommend and will be buying more from here.

I was a little wortied about delivery on one of the hottest days this year, but it was SO well packed, its not an issue at all. We will be buying from you again as the flavours really are delicious.
Quality of a range of ice creams and sorbets outstanding, if at the high end of pricing. Particular favourites: Dark Chocolate, Raspberry Ripple and a combination of Liquorice and British Blackcurrant. Only disappointment was the Italian Lemon which seemed to be more of a granita than a sorbet. Impressed by dry ice and insulated packaging keeping the products frozen through delivery!
Chocolate was very rich and thick so everything you want in a chocolate ice cream the raspberry is smooth and stracitella is a classic

I've been buying from them for many years and when I came to planning for an important family event i knew what treats I wanted.
I was a bit slow to order but after an email I was able to make my order and evryone went above and beyond to make sure my ice creams were delivered.
On the day everyone enjoyed them and were complimentary and that made me happy.
I would recommend Ruby Violet to anybody wanting an extra special treat for an event or just for themsleves!
Amazing ice cream cakes and unique ice cream treats. I've ordered 3 ice cream cakes for birthdays and had the pleasure of being bought one for my own birthday. We have tried the vegan cake and two chocolate ice cream cakes, all of which were delicious. I have also purchased some of the unique Christmas ice cream treats and the orange/lemon sorbets. I am lucky enough to be able to click and collect. As well as being very high quality, the customer service and friendliness of staff is an added bonus. It's great to support a small local business.
I was very excited to find a company who delivered Ice cream cakes. I ordered one for my father in laws birthday as he loves ice cream!
However when I got a notification from the delivery company that there was going to be a 24hour delay I must admit I was extremely concerned that the cake was going to melt!! A big shout out to Stephanie who reassured me it would still be frozen ( she had personally packaged my cake). She continued to liase with the delivery company and track the cake updating me all the time. It did turn up in perfect condition and I am glad to say it was a stunning cake which was enjoyed by us all especially my Father in law!. Looking forward to another family celebration so I can get this again .

From finding the site, selecting what was wanted, ordering, paying and the subsequent communication everything was very easy. The packaging and shipping was fantastic.
Then the cake was superb, the decoration was amazing, the tastes were heavenly and there was lots to eat. Will order again.

OUR STORY
We started in 2011 making ice cream for friends and neighbours at our local farmers' market in North London. We still make every element of our ice cream from scratch in our kitchen, using ingredients of the highest quality, sourced locally whenever possible.
